First of all, sorry for mispelling your name, I was in a hurry and it is also a lapsus, Emna is my niece name and I miss her.
I think, that we have to lead well at least our arab public relations worldwide, our democratic governments are doing well in the political and military field.

I never meant to be against the west when I posted this piece of news, because as you perfectly said, our governments are far much worse, and it’s no secret.
I posted to show the support of Kanouté, something many Arabs don’t know.
And I called him brave, because he knew in advance that he’d be violating the regulations but he did it anyway, and although I’m usually against violating regulations, but there are cases as I mentioned, in which one can’t but break the rules.
Spain, and any country in the world is entitled to put whatever limitations they wish to put, but in the same token, any human being should express their opinion… and take responsibility for the consequences of course.

It’s not out of hatred or bias or anything, and I don’t mean this specific situation with Kanouté, but I truly believe that whenever something is expressed for the interest of Palestine, the whole world goes crazy, something that doesn’t usually happen with pro-Israel stands.

I live in Spain, and I know well this case, and would like to make 2 brief comments:
-I agree about the question of freedom of expression. The spanish professional football league has its own rules, and the fine received by the brave Kanouté is relatively light. There are israeli players and even a coach in Spain, imagine if they will do the same (but the other way).
- Spain’s Zapatero government & public opinion are very favorable to the Palestinian cause and the arab causes in general. They are doing mor and better than the Arabs. So, we have to differentiate the situation in US, GB, FR and Spain. There is no West, there are many western countries with different policies and public opinions. So, if we over-generalize and think that all the West is against us, we will lose another battle against the fascist regime of israel.
