Turn Off Your Lights, it’s Earth Hour

Filed under: Arab Societies, Media, International, Nature & Environment — Eman at 9:14 am on Saturday, March 28, 2009

It’s such a shame that there are only a few Arab countries on the list of EARTH HOUR participants.

I hope that every Arab individual will help spread environmental awareness and help get more and more people in the country he’s/ she’s living in to participate in Earth Hour, so that our countries will be more environment friendly.

Earth Hour is TONIGHT, 8:30 P.M. your local time wherever you’re living. Switch those lights off and enjoy a candle-light atmosphere for at least an hour… it’s the LEAST you can do to help our suffering planet.

Thanks sis for taking the initiative & reminding us…
hope someday we’ll be more responsible towards our planet & treat it gently the way it’s providing us shelter and priceless primary resources…
It’s our big home that we should immensely take care of.

The lights were ablaze along the U.S. Gulf Coast, too. (Well, yes, mine included. Squire and I couldn’t see our ale tankards in the dark.)

Your loyal readers look forward to your report of the Big Move.

Kindly note that Janissary’s been reborn as Tarpius.

Monia, totally agree with you sis, hopefully people, especially in our region, will act with more responsibility.

Tarpius, need the detailed story for picking this name, I guess a new book and a new character are being born? :)
