Happy National Day to UAE and its locals :)

5 years ago, and out of nothing but admiration and respect to UAE and the accomplishments it has witnessed in a short period of time, I actually blogged about UAE National day, yes, that was 5 years ago. Back then, I didn’t really know that after 5 years, I’ll be actually blogging about the same event FROM Dubai, and would be even celebrating it with the locals, having my own UAE mini-flags, taking pictures, having Henna tattoos, listening to their music and watching them dance, and getting a taste of the local Emirati cuisine!

What a lovely big yet small world we live in! I just can’t help wondering, what would I be celebrating, where, 5 years from now!

If you happen to be in UAE today, here is an interesting list of 10 things to do today , and a coverage of today’s events that are taking place around the UAE… and whether in or outside UAE, don’t miss the UAE National Day Parade!
