Ok, I don’t claim being a bookworm, but I love a good read. So whether you’re looking for a new book to read, or thinking of a special gift for someone, you’re welcome to browse along…
The Alchemist: a beautifully written book that draws you out of this world and throws you into a dazzling world of magical reality just like a fairy tale.
Once you’re done reading, you can’t but take a break of whatever you’re doing and reconsider your life: your destiny and your dreams.
Such a lovely book. I truly enjoyed reading every word of it.
The Da Vinci Code: this rather controversial book is one hell of a read. I’ve read a lot of books, but none contained the amount of suspense this book offers.
While reading, you can’t help but wonder how did the writer manage to do all the research he’s done in order to come up with such a work with all the information and cultural as well as artistic arguments it has. Once you start it’s hard to let go till you’re on the last page. Simply wonderful!
Secret Smile: one of the BEST books I’ve ever read. A beautiful story with easy-to-relate-to characters.
Smoothly written, this book will hook you in easily. You’ll taste suspense, and will feel the teasing the story offers. This book would make one hell of a movie!
Life Of Pi: if you’re looking for a light story with adorable characters that’s serious in some of its parts and extremely funny in the other, and if you’re looking for a book that discusses religions and the existence of God in a unique enjoyable way, then this is for sure the book for you.
This book will make you laugh, think and reconsider with every page you turn. Lovely!
In Search Of Fatima: A Palestinian Story: my all-time favorite! I LOVED this book that I actually turned back to page 1 as soon as I finished reading! Yeah, it’s that good! Read my review.
The Undomestic Goddess: Extremely addictive, a crazy character, very exciting twists with really funny situations!
Shopaholic And Sister: If you’re in the mood for a light romantic comedy, this is it, it’s so much fun, you feel you’re actually watching a movie and can’t wait to see the ending!
Can You Keep A Secret: Extremely FUNNY! Very realistic, you can imagine it happening to you so easily. And well, I was THIS CLOSE to getting caught reading it during my working hours… yep, you can’t let go unless you’re done!
The Reader: This bestseller tells the story of a 15-year old boy who falls in love with
a 20 years older woman, their relationship grows, she enjoys him read her books, and one day she disappears… but she becomes a part of his life, which he can never let go. The book was originally written in German and was translated into around 35 languages because of its success. I read the German version called “Der Vorleser”.
The Book of Tea: whether you’re a tea lover or not, reading this book will definitely force you to fall in love with good quality tea. While teaching you about the history of tea, its origin and how it spread around the globe, the book magnificently describes the Japanese aesthetics and culture particularly reflected in the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. In short, a very educational, enjoyable and delicious book.
